I love this thing but wish all the parts would have been in the parts bag. I was missing the small locking nut that connects the handle to the door mount. After a run to Home Depot install was a breeze. Luckily I can’t see the one stainless steel part.
Easy install. video was very helpful. drilling straight can be interesting with a door that moves. works great. should have purchased it with the V4.0 latch assembly.
One of those items that I wish I had from the start. No more stretching to open the door or to unlock or lock of the fifth wheel. Very good quality. Easy to install.
The handle works great, much easier to open the door with the extension. Would like to give this handle 5 stars, but have had an issue with the set screw in the handle rusting and the rust slowly spreading onto the lock, not a nice look. I contacted customer service and they immediately sent out a new package of hardware, unfortunately the one thing missing in the package was the set screw. Contacted customer service again to see if I could just purchase one locally and was told it was an M5x12. They weren't available locally, so I ordered online, it was too short and disappeared into the extender. Turns out they are actually M5x14, so I reordered more of the correct size (stainless steel) perfect fit. Like the handle, just not fond of the rusting set screw.
