We installed the atlas lock in our 2006 Fleetwood Discovery 39l. I had a little bit of trimming to get it installed but it was very minimal! Took about 1/2 hour total and my wife loves it!! Win! Win!

I’ve been wanting this RV Lock for the last 3 years now for my 2019 Class A Berkshire 34QS. However, they don’t have one available yet in stock that will fit my coach. I have seen some videos on how to install this, and I know that it’s a breeze to install it provided it fits based on the measurements they asked for (2 1/4 - 2 1/2”) from the edge of the lock to the edge of the door. Well, my door only measures at 1 1/2” from the door edge to the edge of the lock. The good news is that the overall dimension of the lock is exactly the same as the original lock on my coach, and the door has the calibration hole on the side of the door. So, I took a chance in ordering the RVLock Atlas Keyless entry, knowing that if I can’t get to work, I’m out $300. The lock arrived a week later, and I already loved the unit. I removed the old lock and compared it with the new RVLock Atlas, and immediately, I noticed that the deadbolt, and the calibration bolt are a lot longer than the old lock. Also, the calibration bolt on the new lock was bent the opposite way the new RVLock Atlas was bent. So, first I had to cut the deadbolt, and the calibration bolt the same length as the old lock, after which I bent the the calibration bolt, similar to the way the old lock was bent. It took me some trials and errors to bend the calibration exactly, to make it fit. Success! About an hour later, I got the RVLock Atlas to work, just the way it was designed to work. This product is great! Highly recommended. If you are a DIY person and they don’t have one for your coach, a little modification, and this RVLock works perfectly.

I ordered a lock, right before Christmas, and the first one they sent was beat up and clearly a used product, which they replaced. The second lock the calibration bolt was bent, thus making the installation impossible since, when I did get the bolt on and the nut on, it would stress the lock to the point my plastic trim would bend out. Not wanting it to break I called and explained the situation. The woman actually suggested taking the plastic trim off in favor of some “trim tape” (whatever that is) that they would provide. I took off the plastic trim to see what that would look like - see below. The fact that they thought that was a reasonable solution would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.
Installed this on our 2019 Newmar. Easy install although a second set of hands would have helped.
Works as described and will be a nice upgrade to the RV.
