I'm a fan of RV Lock and this new lock seems to work as well as previous locks. Cosmetically, the lock is slightly smaller than the original lock. It needs a black rubber gasket to cover where the paint on the RV doesn't match due to the smaller size of the outer lock frame or a larger, external lock frame.
We have been looking for a keyless lock with a remote and RV Lock has produced a great lock that fits our needs! This new product was a simple install and easy to program. We did need to order the decal to add to our door as the lock face is slightly smaller than our existing lock so the base paint was exposed. We are very happy with the operation of the lock and would highly recommend it to other users!
Bought in December during a presale. Received it early in January. Installed it the following day. Very easy to install. Straight out of the box, on to the RV. No modifications or adjustments. Took about 30 minutes to remove the old lock and install the RVLock. Would have been quicker with a third hand. Took a minute to line up the screws by myself. Easy to program and connect the fobs.
Let me explain the title. Started looking for a keyless entry in 10/23. Got on RVLock's notification list. Was notified 12/24. Preordered.
A direct replacement that took 10 minutes to install. This lock is a game changer and opening up the door is a lot easier than the original door locks tug on the handle. Charging cable reaches charging tower next to door when the lock needs charging. Posted on Entegra FB site so all could see that the Atlas is available and a great fit with no mods needed using Configuration B. Two Thumbs 👍 👍 up.
Couldn't wait to replace our OEM lock excited they have started shipping. The new generation 2 lock is well build. Easy to install and program. It also has a good solid feel.
