This is an amazing lock. So much better than the v3. It easily locks without having to hold down any buttons and quickly will unlock too. It’s an all around great lock and recommend this to anyone with an rv or motorhome. Hopefully they will come out with the baggage compartment locks for my trailer soon.
I do not like to slam doors. That is what I had to do with the plastic like material if the factory installed door handle. The metal construction of the RV Lock was what I was looking for. Both doors latch with little to no effort. No more door slamming!!
We purchased our door lock a couple of years ago! It developed some issues so we contacted the company and they sent replacement parts! Couldn’t be happier with their customer service!
We installed the RVLock V4 on the entry door, the Compact left hand on the Bunk side door, and two cam latch locks on the passthrough doors for key matching. All pieces were plug and play matches for parts being replaced. We had an issue with shipping that RVLock support was 100% able to get resolved for us.
Great lock. Aliner doors seem to be thinner than other campers. Needed to remove the spacer and gasket from the factory lock and add it to the RVLOCK in order for it to fit tight. Other than this slight modification the rest of the install went smoothly. The lock looks and works great.
