I have this lock on my camper for about three weeks. It works as sold. It is easy install, easy to program and easy to operate. I was able to show our eight year old granddaughter how to lock and unlock it in about 3 minutes. I feel the door is tighter to the camper than the old lock held the door.

I am 62 and installed the lock on my 2024 Rockwood MiniLite in about 30 minutes. Every time I hear the sound it makes locking and unlocking, I smile. I am sure it will be one of the best upgrades I'll make. The convenience of having a quality lock with added security justifies the cost as I am confident it will last. Now I’m debating should I buy two luggage doors to complete my RV security?
I've had the RV Lock V4 on my RV for about five years. It worked wonderfully, except for the plastic insert with the numbers and lock/unlock buttons, which would crack and chip every couple of years. When the TRECK was released, I decided to upgrade and I'm very pleased with the decision. The installation was straightforward, although it would have been even easier had I followed the instructions more closely. Nonetheless, it only took about 30 minutes to install and program. The TRECK has the same robust construction as the V4, but with button covers that are better built and I believe will be more durable against the elements than the V4's plastic. After about two weeks of installation, it has been operating perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade or purchase for the first time.
