There is a clear plastic covering on it. Is therPeeled the backing off and stuck it on. Why does it look like this? Am I supposed to peel the clear layer off?
We just bought a 2020 A Class that had an RV Lock. I really liked the idea of a keypad rather than having a key to carry around. The keypad was worn where the numbers that were used for the combination had used more than the others. I went to the website, watched the video on how to replace the keypad. It looked simple so I ordered a replacement keypad. The video shows the silicon pad attached to the keypad, but all I got was the membrane for the keypad. It was difficult to get it to stick to the silicone and get it to be aligned correctly. I got it as good as I could and installed it. It takes a firm finger nail to get the combo to work. I did some emailing with RV Lock and learned there is an upgraded version of the keypad that includes the silicone attached to the keypad. I will be ordering one.
